In Clinical and Therapeutic Setting For Trainers, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists and Chiropractors.
Stretching has been a part of bodywork for thousands of years. Most health, and fitness professional employ some form of stretching techniques on their clients. Unfortunately one on one setting has not evolved much past standard stretching. Therapist still use relaxed passive stretching technique. Once in a while contract - relax cycles are employed. Latter has been shown to work more effectively.
Still the issue with PNF or similar stretches is the fact that many muscle groups are attempted to be stretched at the same time. This slows down the progress severely. Kinesiological stretching separate the muscles out. In doing so, make it much easier to lengthen them. At the same time, it's easy to see which muscle is preventing the stretch. The trainer or therapist can quickly zero in and release the tissue through massage or pressure.
This routine takes care of all the muscle groups that extend the hip joint. It takes into consideration PNF, RI and other methods. When combined with kinesiological stretching, the results is are much faster and easier flexibility gains. Even one session, lasting for few rounds makes noticeable improvement in clients.
